12 DIY Upcycled Lamp Ideas
Here is a list of 12 ways you can upcycle materials to make new and creative lamps in your home.
1. Paint Swatches
Use a hot glue fun to tape paint swatch strips together and create an awesome design of shaded colors.
Create a collage of magazine images and text from your favorite choices on a shade.
3. Test Tubes
Fill test tubes with sand, beads, fresh flowers, colorful water or leave empty and drop down into a wood circle frame to hang.
4. Wine Glasses
Use tea lights in wineglasses and cover with vellum paper to create a mini lamp. Create folds or punch holes for extra pattern designs.
5. Bottle Caps
Punch holes on the sides of the caps and string together with brass wire to create a hanging shade effect.
Cut the bottom of a bowl big enough to go over a light sock and hang from ceiling.
Detach spoons from their stem and glue on an empty water jug to create a frame for your shade.
8. Egg Cartons
Cut the cups of an egg carton and glue together.
Shorten the stem of a plunger and hang from the ceiling.
