This mold is normally found in a powdery appearance with green, brown, grey, or black colors. It can grow on food, dead plants, wood, insulation, and dark dampened environments such as basements.

Health risks include severe allergic reactions, weakened immune systems, and considered harmful for individuals with asthma and allergies.

This type of mold is known to grow very quickly and can be grey, brown, yellow, green, white, or black in color. It is commonly found in walls, insulation, soil, clothing, and other humid moist environments such as leaky basements.

Associated health effects are infections in individuals with weakened immune systems and produces a carcinogen also referred to as aflatoxin.

This mold is known for having a fuzzy appearance. It can be colored in green, white, or blue and located in food, walls, insulation, or other moist organic matter.

Health risks as associated to an upset stomach if digested and airborne spore that can cause congestion, coughing, and eye irritation.

This type of mold does not require much water in order to grow and can consist of long, velvety type fairs. It is normally found in dark green, grey, or black colors and located in carpet, clothing, around windows, and damp areas such as flooded basements.

This mold can create health effects such as hay fever, asthma, and respiratory problems.

Also referred to as toxic black mold, this type of mold is slimy and can consist of a dark green or black color. It is commonly found in the walls, ceilings, and floorboards of homes to include any moist area.

Exposure to this type of mold can cause cancer, headaches, asthma, dizziness, and joint paint in individuals.

This type of mold is smaller than stachybotrys but also a dark green or black color. It can be found in cotton, canvas, wool, ceilings, walls, and dampened areas of the home.

The health risks are coughing, headaches, and respiratory problems for those exposed to it.
