The global construction industry has seen an increase in demand with an expected demand in the next decade. The estimated worth of the global plumbing industry by 2015 is expected to be worth $49.4 million. Homeowners are finding themselves investing in new plumbing fixtures with a great demand in products that cut down waste and save water.

The Cost of Remodeling

The bathroom is the top room of choice for remodeling. With a national average cost of $16,000 to remodel a bathroom, homeowners can save 70% by doing the work themselves. However, the risks associated with this are mistakes and a higher risk of leaks. Half of the costs dedicated to remodeling a bathroom are given to the labor, fixtures, cabinetry and hardware.

The kitchen is another area of the home that is highly desired by homeowners to remodel. The average mid-range kitchen can cost $56,000 with upscale style renovations running the costs to $110,000. For less than $500 though, you can create a fresh looking kitchen by replacing cabinetry hardware, new paint, add some work space, self-adhesive flooring, and new accents.
