What Your Kitchen Says About Your Personality

What Your Kitchen Design Says About You

The style of your kitchen not only adds value and beauty to your home, but it also says a lot about you. The kitchen is one of the most important rooms in your home and is often where you and your family spend the most time. The décor and style options that you choose in your kitchen will say a lot about your personality and the lifestyle that you live. Everything in your kitchen says something about you. Even the smallest details speak to your individual preferences.

What Does Your Refrigerator Say?

Your refrigerator may seem like an appliance that simply keeps your food and beverages cold, but it actually says a lot about you. A white refrigerator infers that you are a family oriented individual that puts your family first above all else. Most homeowners with white refrigerators are homemakers with an abundance of compassion and kindness for others. On the other hand, a stainless steel refrigerator says that you are sophisticated and passionate about knowledge. A colored fridge suggests that you are quirky and love being an individual. If your refrigerator is black, it’s likely that you have an opinion and are not afraid to voice it to others. Who knew that the color of your fridge could speak so loudly?

Cooking Surface and Personality

You might not think that the cooking surface you prefer says anything about your personality, but you would be wrong. In fact, the cooking surface that you use says quite a lot. If you prefer a griddle, this suggests that you have a quick temper and are often the center of attention. In contrast, if you have a glass cooking surface, it is likely that you know what you want and have a cool and calm demeanor about life. Classic coil cooking surfaces say that you always take things slowly and analyze every situation, but you are also great at solving any problems that come your way. A gas range stove says that you are smart and really enjoy making others feel good. Next time be careful where you choose to cook, because it says a lot about who you are.

Flooring and You

Just like everything else in your kitchen, your flooring speaks volumes. Tile floor suggests that you are a clean freak, but carpet says that you are aware of other people’s feelings. Wood is often used to describe protectors and linoleum says that you are a thinker.
