LandlordStation's Tenant Portals
LandlordStation is always looking for a way to make your job as a landlord and property manager just a little easier. One way that we do this is to offer the option of Tenant Portals to better connect you and your tenant through our system. You can accept maintenance requests, share documents, and even give them the option of choosing to pay their rent online, all from one place.
Maintenance requests placed by your tenants through our Tenant Portal are easily accessible from your landlord account. Just log in and you will see them on the main page of your account as well as under the Work Orders tab to the left of the screen. You will receive an emailed alert of the work order when it’s submitted and you can change status so that your tenant is aware of your progress, accept digital photos of the area they’re requesting maintenance on, and it can all be done from any level of account that you choose, including the free Basic account. Your tenant may submit these orders via computer or mobile device.
Finding time in your busy schedule to sit down and go over documents with a tenant is not always easy, so we’ve added a way to easily send and receive documents via the Tenant Portal. While these cannot be electronically signed (you’ll need a Plus or high subscription for that), you can share any uploaded document with them just by choosing the tenant you wish to share it with. If you decide that they no longer need access to it, removing the document from their Tenant Portal is as easy as unchecking the box next to their name.
Online Rent Payments
Online Rent Payments is accessible in Plus and higher landlord accounts. If you only have a Basic account, your tenant will not be able to send payments through their Tenant Portal. If you do have access to this, all your tenant needs to do (once you’ve set up the rent payments on your end and they have added a bank account through their authorized Dwolla account) is to click on the dollar sign in their Tenant Portal and choose the green PAY NOW button there. Once an order is made an email will also go out to the tenant to alert them of this and they may follow the link in that email for easy access.
