Can we give the screening results to the screened potential tenant?

My applicant asked me if I can send the screening result report to her for her reference. Do I have to, by law, let her view her report? Is it against the law if I do not feel like to?

This is a state-specific thing...

This is a state-specific thing so you will have to check further to be sure. It is certainly ok to show then the report. No problem there. In some states (I believe California is like this) you are required to show a tenant what you are using to turn them down as a resident. In some states this is not the case. We have some state specific resources here http://blog.landlordstation.com/landlord-tenant-state-laws-regulations/
and here http://www.landlordstation.com/info/landlord-tenant-law.html. One of those might have what you need.
