Body of a Brooklyn Landlord Is Discovered in a Basement

An other Brooklyn landlord was found dead on Tuesday morning in the basement of the building that he owned. Mahuddin Mahmud, 57, was found early that morning and detectives are looking for one of his tenants as a possible person of interest. Friends of the landlord are shocked to have heard of the brutal murder.
Mr Mahmud had immigrated to America from Bangladesh 25 years ago, since earning enough money to bring two brothers over as well as send money back home to family. Friends described him as a man that came over with the American Dream. Since moving to the United States, he had been a business man that had owned a grocery store and had bought the building that he owned at his death.
