Bozeman woman sentenced to 100 years in prison for shooting former tenant

Diana Arnold of Bozeman, Montana, was convicted of attempted deliberate homicide for shooting one of her tenants in the head and chest. Though she plead her case saying that she did not remember the action due to a dissociative personality disorder, but instead of being sentenced to a mental facility she was sentenced to 100 years in prison.

The room was divided between the two, with the victim's son speaking out and saying that he hoped that the maximum punishment was received, and Arnold's sister taking the stand in defense of her sister. In the end, the judge ruled that she would go to prison, but that she would still receive care for her diagnosed conditions.
