Cincinnati is looking to add around 1,500 units to downtown neighborhoods to support the influx of new residents that they believe will come with the opening of new businesses and new projects that are meant to bring jobs to the area. The plans are building on themselves as with new residents expected, neighborhood businesses such as grocery stores, dry cleaners, and more affordable restaurants are expected to stabilize the area. All of this is expected to happen within the next two to three years with apartments and condos being the goal for housing. They will range from one to two bedrooms and both luxury and more affordable prices for the range of people that will be moving into the neighborhood to be closer to work. The plan is to build as well as renovate historical buildings for the project.
