Would You Rather Pay Your Rent to a Bum Landlord or a Wall Street Investor?



At one time it seemed that a renter might have to choose between a quaint home and quick maintenance as you might find in large scale apartment buildings, but things may be changing Institutional investors have turned to buying up single-family homes, repairing them, and instead of simply reselling them, choosing to rent them out instead. This, in theory, would allow the renter some of the perks that come with the larger apartment complexes, run by larger businesses, without having to actually live in that apartment.


Some find issue with the fact that it will add more distance between the landlord and tenant than already exists, and the tenant will need to weigh to pros and cons as they always would.
