By using any of the web properties belonging (Sites) to Landlord Station, LLC (LLS), including landlordstation.com, blog.landlordstation.com, support.landlordstation.com, or community.landlordstation.com, you are automatically agreeing to the following Terms of Use. Please read the following information carefully before using the Sites. By accessing or using the Sites, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the Terms of Use and to follow all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with the Terms of Use, do not use the Sites. Please review the Privacy Policy prior to using the Sites to understand how LLS will use information collected.


Users agree to indemnify and hold LLS harmless from and against any and all third party claims, demands, actions, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or resulting from any user’s (or its affiliates) actions with regard to the Sites or information accessed herein.

LandlordStation uses Trans Union as its sole information provider for Credit, Criminal, and Eviction reports. LandlordStation makes every effort to insure report accuracy however you agree that you are aware that credit, criminal, and eviction databases are not perfect and may provide false information or fail to provide true information as the case may be. YOU AGREE TO HOLD LANDLORDSTATION HARMLESS AGAINST ANY CLAIM ARRISING FROM INCORRECT INFORMATION IN CREDIT, CRIMINAL, OR EVICTION REPORTS FURNISHED TO YOU THROUGH THIS SITE.

In order to run a tenant screening report on this site you will be required to agree to the terms and conditions of Trans Union Smartmove as well as LandlordStation.

Data Provided by Users

Any data that you may provide on the Sites, including the Community, and any use of Social Media Features must be accurate, true and in good taste. LLS reserves the right to investigate any information it suspects is inaccurate and remove any information it deems fraudulent or inappropriate and/or deny future access to the provider of such information.

No Warranty

The Services offered on the Sites are provided "as is", with no warranties of any kind. We will not be liable for any damages you incur while using our Sites or the information accessed herein, even if you advise us that such damages are possible. LLS cannot be held liable for any information posted to the Community, which is a public forum. LLS is not a credit repair service and cannot in any way alter or attempt to alter the information in your Credit Report. LandlordStation provides all information in credit, criminal, and eviction reports “as-is” without guarantee of accuracy. 

Use of and Links to Third Party Web Sites

 LLS may utilize other web sites to better serve you, including, but not limited to, Dwolla.com for online rental and related payment transactions, third party listing sites such as Trulia, Zillow, etc., and Amazon Web Services, Dropbox, and Hellosign for data storage. LLS also may provide links on the Sites to third party web sites on which you may click. We encourage you to read the terms and conditions of these other web sites because their policies may differ from ours. LLS does not make any representations or warranties as to and is not responsible for the accuracy or viability of any of the web sites that it utilizes or to which it links. LLS takes steps to prevent and/or remedy any fraudulent or inappropriate activity related to its customers or caused by its customers that takes place as a result of the use of other web sites; however, LLS does not control the activity on the other web sites and is not responsible for it. LandlordStation may be compensated by third parties who place links on our Site.


 If you wish to link to the Site(s) please contact the specific Site administrator for permission. You will not be given permission if you intend to misrepresent LLS or your relationship with us. Any of the design, logos, appearance, etc. of the Sites are not to be copied or framed in any way without express written permission from LLS. LLS Sites may contain links to third party web sites. LLS makes no warranty as to any of the Sites or products linked to.

Trademarks and Copyrights

 The trademarks, service marks, and logos used on the Sites are registered and unregistered trademarks. The trademarks belong to their respective owners including LLS, TransUnion SmartMove, the NAA, the BBB, Symantec, Authorize.net, and others. The trademark owner has exclusive rights to the respective trademarks. Any unauthorized use of the trademarks is strictly prohibited. You may not display these trademarks without the specific authorization of the owner. 

Force Majeure

LLS shall be excused from delay in the performance of any obligations hereunder when such delay is the result of or attributable to acts of God, governmental authority, manufacturers delays or any other cause beyond their reasonable control.

Rent Payments

As a User accepting online rent payments through LandlordStation you are charged a monthly/annual fee equivalent to the membership level that you signed up for, and must provide LandlordStation with a valid credit or debit card as a condition of signing up for that membership. A valid bank account is also required for the rent funds (paid by the tenant) to be delivered into. By providing LandlordStation with your credit or debit card number and associated payment information, you agree that LandlordStation and its third party payment processor is authorized to immediately invoice your LandlordStation Account for all fees and charges due and payable to LandlordStation hereunder and that no additional notice or consent is required. You also agree that you are: (i) receiving a bona fide rent payment, (ii) authorized to use the bank account that you are receiving the funds into, and (iii) not knowingly engaging in any transaction that is illegal or that you should have known was illegal.

All information that you provide to us or our third party payment processor must be accurate, current, and complete. If LandlordStation suspects fraudulent activity on either end of the account (landlord or tenant) LandlordStation reserves the right to hold those charges in escrow pending internal investigation.
